Title: PHARMACIST AD – Student Health
Job Category: Admin/Managerial
Salary: $61,880.00 annually RANGE:Up to 10% depending on qualifications
Duties: Compound and dispense prescribed medications, drugs and other pharmaceuticals for patient care. Interpret, fill and dispense prescriptions in accordance with the written directions of physicians and nurse practitioner protocols; manufacture, compound, bottle or package and label drugs and solutions; plan, direct, revise and modify pharmacy procedures; prepare requisition for all drugs and pharmacy supplies; analyze new pharmaceutical preparations recommended for patient use; maintain an approved system of record keeping, bookkeeping and cashiering; assist in preparing a formulary annually; conduct inventory of pharmacy during summer quarter; maintain adequate pharmacy supplies; answer questions and provide information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and storage of pharmaceuticals; maintain established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances and disposal of hazardous waste drugs and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and current license from the Georgia State Board of Pharmacy and two years experience; or a combination of training and experience. Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and procedures; of prescribing and dispensing laws in the State of Georgia; considerable knowledge of computer operation and software packages; effective time management and organizational skills; ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally and to provide proper customer service.

Title: WOMEN’S SOCCER HEAD COACH and COORDINATOR OF ATHLETIC FACILITIES- Athletics

Salary: $40,686.00 annually RANGE: Up to 10% depending on qualifications
Duties: Valdosta State University is adding women’s soccer as an intercollegiate sport and will start play in the fall of 2011. Head Coach and Coordinator of Athletic Facilities position will be filled in the winter/spring of 2010. Responsible for all aspects of developing and leading a NCAA Division II women’s soccer program. This includes but is not limited to; recruitment of prospective student-athletes, student-athlete development, game preparation and strategy, supervision of staff, scheduling, purchasing of equipment and supplies, alumni and public relations, fund-raising, adherence to NCAA and GSC rules and regulations and administrative duties. The head coach will also be responsible for working with the athletic and university staff to support the philosophy, goals and mission of both the university and its’ athletic program. Qualifications: Bachelors degree required with a masters degree preferred. A minimum of four (4) years of collegiate soccer coaching experience is required. Two-years of collegiate graduate assistant soccer coaching experience can count for one-year of collegiate experience.
